Sunderland's our home.
And it's been over 100 years
since we've been practicing
service above self here
and beyond.

Chartered in 1922, the Rotary Club of Sunderland is one of the older clubs in the North East of England. It's part of one of the most prestigious service clubs in the world. Along with our two Satellite clubs, we link people with diverse backgrounds as well as within business and the professional stream.

Serving fellow humans has always been our prime objective. Like many of our sister clubs, we are able to contribute for the benefit of our local community and the wider world in the battle against disease, poverty, natural disaters and basic needs such as clean water and sanitation. We work closely with the University of Sunderland in reaching out to make our community a better place. We're proud to have been conferred with an Honorary Fellowship by the University.
